Reverend
Don Bliss
has served the East Freetown Congregational-Christian Church since 2001, having formerly served as Minister to Children and Youth at Old West Church in Boston and as Director of Children's, Youth and Family Ministries at the Federated Church of Hyannis. He is a lifetime member of the American Congregational Society and has designed and led Youth and Childrens’ Ministry training events for the United Church of Christ, American Baptist Churches, the Episcopal Church, and non-denominational Christian publishers. Pastor Don is also a published author. For 22 years, he directed the Viking Theater Company at Wareham High School, and formerly served the Wareham Public Schools as "Artist in Residence", presenting drama projects in classrooms to develop alternative teaching and learning styles that supported the curriculum frameworks. Pastor Don lives with his wife Lori, who is a retired teacher. He has a married daughter, and is "Babba" to three grandchildren.
